Customer records

Name, phone number, email, what you brought and what we did. Kept for two years so we can answer questions about past work, and in the accounts for six years as the law requires.

Your footage

This is the part that matters. Files we produce sit on a workshop drive until you've confirmed you have them, and are then deleted within thirty days unless you've asked us to hold a backup. We don't watch beyond what's needed to check the transfer, we don't keep stills, and we have never used a customer's footage as an example of anything.

If you'd like us to hold a backup copy, we'll do it for a year at no charge and delete it after that with an email first.

Links expire after sixty days and the file is removed from the server at the same time.

This website

No forms, no accounts, no analytics. Server logs — address, time, page — are deleted after seven days. Fonts load from Google's font service, which means a request carrying your IP address goes there. Nothing else third-party is embedded.

Your rights

Ask us at transfer@cosmosreels.com for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. Complaints can go to the Information Commissioner's Office.
